Daniela Villalobos Araújo

Daniela Villalobos Araújo (b. 1994, Bogotá) is a Colombian multidisciplinary artist based in Berlin, Germany. Her practice explores memory, cultural identity, and the emotional tension between belonging and displacement. Shaped by her movement between different cultural contexts, she creates layered compositions that merge figurative and abstract elements.Through painting, sculpture, installation, and everyday materials, she builds hybrid spaces that blur the real and the imagined.

Daniela’s work draws from personal memory, architecture, and the everyday social dynamics of Latin America. She constructs intimate spaces that feel both remembered and imagined. Her practice explores themes of identity, cultural hybridity, and the sense of belonging, often evoking domesticity, displacement, and longing. By blending figurative and abstract elements, she creates a visual language that holds tension between place and memory, rooted in both distance and connection.
